I realized today that we’re all just one invention away from being mindless, primative sheep.
Let me attempt to explain.
If someone hadn’t invented the toilet we would be poo/peeing in or on whatever worked. Yes, someone would’ve come along and invented something to help, but in that time that they didn’t, we would just poo/pee in the sewage system (if that developed properly).
And if someone else had invented it, it would more than likely look and function differently. It might be barstool height, it might have leather seats stock, it might provide slight suction for your booboos, it might have a separate area to pee in, who knows!

I guess what I’m getting at is this:
If you see something wrong with how something is done, don’t sit around and wait for an answer, do something!
Then we could live in a world free of things like the Shake Weight.
